SANTEX RIMAR GROUP ATTENDS FIRST WORLD TEXTILE MERCHANDISING CONFERENCE

The first World Textile Merchandising Conference was held in Keqiao Shaoxing, China, on September 20th and 21st and was the gathering of the major players to discuss about the future development of textile technology, dynamic pattern of global fashion industry and upgrading of China’s Textile Industry.
During the conference Simone Rancan, SANTEX RIMAR GROUP CEO, gave a speech about digitalization across the value chain, sustainability and circular economy.

Industry 4.0 represents a shift of the industrial production: machinery no longer simply processes the product, but the product communicates with the machinery to tell it exactly what to do. Decentralized intelligence helps creating the independent process management in an entirely new way of approaching the manufacturing and production process.
To become circular, the fashion industry must reinvent itself in how to design, what materials to use, how to dye, how to weave, cut and sew, ship, sell, own, use and dispose fashion. SANTEX RIMAR GROUP develops machines aligned with sustainability and circular economy principles: SPEROTTO RIMAR NOVA and PLANA to save water and chemicals, SANTEX SANTASHRINK to save energy and SOLWA DRYWA, a green sludge dryer for industrial waste.
