INDEX is the occasion to promote Cavitec Hotmelt Coating and Laminating as well as to present the new release of SANTATHERM machine, which has been designed to cope with the needs of all nonwovens processes.
In terms of technologies Santex Rimar Group has invested in mechatronics to make smarter lines, heat management, nonwovens, scattering and thermoplastic solutions to allow the customers entering new markets. The Group is constantly looking for new opportunities to widen the range of products, textile finishing and technical textile – particularly for nonwovens.

Santex Rimar Group Technical Textile Division is present at JEC Composites Trade Show, offering innovative solutions that covers the whole process and manufacturing knowhow for Prepreg technology. The event is one of the largest composites show in the world that covers the whole composites value chain from raw material to processors and final product.
Cavitec, part of the Group Technical Textile Division, is specialized in hotmelt based applications, solvent based products and thermoplastic Prepregs.
Final applications of this technology are really various, going from wind energy, sport goods, aerospace exteriors and interiors, automotive industry and civil engineering.
On the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the death of Maria Callas, in collaboration with the publishers Roads, La Rosa Mannequins, Santex Rimar Group and Santa Margherita have created “Private Callas”.
Located in the fascinating spaces of via Durini, no. 24, the magical Milanese residence, this show features precious objects coming from the Callas Archive of the Fondazione Progetto Marzotto, so as to recreate a Maria Callas in her both her public and private lives: her daywear is shown together with the prestigious evening wear by Biki, Dior and Saint Laurent, and her precious jewels, her dramatic stage costumes, portraits, photographs and valuable theatre posters all provide testimony of the soprano’s extraordinary opera seasons at the Scala Theatre in Milan.

The trade show had been the occasion to meet customers from all over India and political institutions such as Swiss and Italian Consulates based in India. We were particularly honored to welcome Dr. Kavita Gupta, Textile Commissioner of India, in our booth to show our products and discuss about textile and technical textile business developments in the Country.

On December, the 1st Premio Gaetano Marzotto’s final event took place in Rome.
With 71 awards, 51 startups awarded a total prize money of over 2 and a half million euro and an extended network of a hundred partners, Premio Gaetano Marzotto – founded by Santex Rimar Group shareholders – is one of the biggest European startup competitions.
Santex Rimar Group is directly involved as Premio Gaetano Marzotto’s partner for assigning Corporate Prizes with the aim of selecting and rewarding the startup companies considered to be most in line with Group’s growth strategies.
